Warren County Philanthropic Partnership was formed in 2005 to support philanthropic efforts in Warren County, Iowa. For more than a decade, the Partnership has promoted endowment-building, provided community grantmaking, organizational collaboration and public leadership for the benefit of the county.
WCPP is an Affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines and governed by a Board of Directors, made up of community-minded individuals. The Board assess community needs, evaluates area grant applications, and awards grants to worthwhile projects in the county. Our foundation’s areas of emphasis include:

Warren County Philanthropic Partnership makes grants to I.R.S. 501©(3) tax-exempt organizations and 170(b) unit of government organizations to assist in fulfilling our mission to foster private giving, strengthen service providers and improve the conditions of the communities in Warren County.
Grant amounts are dependent upon the allocation of funds available to the Community Foundation each fiscal year, limited to nonprofits located in Warren County and projects serving the county. Award amounts will range from $500-$5,000 for most grants, plus one High Impact Grant of $5,001 to $10,000. Awards will not be made for debt relief and ongoing operation subsides, fund raising expenses, endowments, and politically sensitive or religious purposes.
